Festival Information

Festival Office and Shop

You’ll find us downstairs in the Glencairn Memorial Institute as well as in the Big Top tent in the camping field this year. This is where you can collect your wristbands for camp site and events entrance. The opening hours for the Institute shop are:

  • Thursday 4pm - 6.45pm
  • Friday 1pm – 6.45pm
  • Saturday 10am-6.45pm
  • Sunday 10am-1pm

The Big Top will be open later so don't worry if you arrive after the Institute shop has closed.

Note for Weekend Ticket holders

Priority will be given to weekend ticket holders for the main concerts until 15 minutes before the
advertised starting time. So, if there is a concert that you DON’T WANT TO MISS, make sure you are in by then.

general information

We are grateful, as always, to all our backers for help in putting on this celebration weekend that brings much needed funds to our small rural community. Please do your bit by buying local, giving generously to our raffle and donations collectors, and perusing our snazzy merchandise in the Festival shop – pinnies a speciality...

The village has a grocers store; a cafe; an Italian restaurant; a launderette; and a garage. There are 2 pubs where there will be sessions taking place all weekend.

Please note there are no ATM facilities in the village. You can use cards when paying for things, but it is advisable to bring cash also.

Thank you for coming to the Festival; we hope you enjoy yourselves and we’ll see you all again next year.

Camping & Accommodation

Festival Camping is available right by the venues. Please be aware that our festival is set in the heart of the village and so please respect our hard working locals with your consideration. The camping field is a working farm field and so please note the following:

  • The building of fires is prohibited.
  • Please dispose of your rubbish in the containers provided and leave your pitch clear.
  • No amplified or loud music on the campsite.
  • All dogs must be on leads and cleaned up after.

We would be grateful if you would avoid parking and sleeping in camper vans in either the village car park or streets – we do receive complaints from village residents about this, and their support is crucial to the festival.

Our camp site is supervised and we have a free friendly tractor tow on hand on Sunday.

The campsite will be open from noon on Thursday 10th May until noon on Monday 14th May. Access to the site is via a lane next to the primary school. Please keep this lane clear as it is used by school buses and be aware that the area is busy, especially when school finishes at 3:15 pm.

You will need to show your printed ticket or wristband to access the camp site so make sure you visit the festival shop or big top tent before setting up. There is no 'camping only' option for tickets.
